“In a very short time, the orchestra players have achieved relatively good performance standards, and this is thanks to the intellectual standing in front of them, who is called to love music, … knows much and is able to tell many new and important things to the orchestra. This is the kind of maestro that should lead an orchestra of today …: a creative personality with clear objectives and the right attitude to both the music being performed and the collective, who treats every member of the orchestra with respect yet demands total commitment from everyone.” (Alina Ramanauskienė, Kauno Diena, 2006).
